My family headed back down to Cali beginning of July for a fun trip to Newport beach! It was so fun to get away for a little bit and spend time with my fam!
We stopped at Encinitas first. We came down here to my grandparents beach house every summer! They now live in Orem, but we had to take Cam to Moonlight beach where we watched sunsets, ate Manhattan giant pizza, and took morning walks!
After spending a day in Encinitas, we headed to Newport. We stayed at the Marriott vacation villas.
Of course we had to eat at Ruby's on the pier! And... it was raining.... and cold. Not so fun. BUT! it was fun to walk around the shops when the rain stopped.
We attempted at going to the beach for a day.. it didn't last. It was cold. Blanket, hoodie, one hour on the beach.

While we were shopping at Fashion Island Mall, the boys were going to see Ferrari's and Porsche's.
Shopping is cooler.

We had such a fun trip. Thanks Mom and Dad! Until next year when Shawny can come...
